Ingredients
  • 1 cup plain flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • little water
  • 250g falafel mixture
  • water
  • 150ml vegetable oil
  • hommos to serve
  • chopped parsley to garnish

Directions
  1. Place flour and salt in bowl, add enough water that it forms a dough. (Alternatively you can prepare a sourdough starter and add flour to the starter) Divide dough into two, roll out flat, or pat out on a floured surface. Put chapatti on a dry pan and slow cook on low heat until browned, turn and cook other side.
  2. Mix falafel according to instructions on packet. Roll balls in moist hands and place in very hot oil, turning until evenly cooked. Drain on paper.
  3. Serve balls with chapatti, drizzled with hommos and chopped parsley or tabouleh salad.
