How to make it

  • Place flour and salt in bowl, add enough water that it forms a dough. (Alternatively you can prepare a sourdough starter and add flour to the starter) Divide dough into two, roll out flat, or pat out on a floured surface. Put chapatti on a dry pan and slow cook on low heat until browned, turn and cook other side.
  • Mix falafel according to instructions on packet. Roll balls in moist hands and place in very hot oil, turning until evenly cooked. Drain on paper.
  • Serve balls with chapatti, drizzled with hommos and chopped parsley or tabouleh salad.
