Simple, quick recipe for making baked beans.

Ingredients
  • 1 lb cooked beans
  • Water reserved from cooking the beans
  • 1/2 c molasses or dark syrup
  • 1/4 c catsup (optional)
  • 1 t dried mustard
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • salt & pepper, to taste
  • 2 slices of bacon or salt pork (optional)

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350ยบ.
  2. Combine all ingredients in greased casserole.
  3. Bake, uncovered, for 45 minutes.
  4. Serve.
