Chocolate Thumbprints Recipe

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Grease baking sheets.
  • Combine butter, sugar ,milk , vanilla and egg yolk.
  • Beat at med sepped of mixer until well blended.
  • Add chocolate and mix well.
  • Combine flour and salt and add to chocolate mixuter, mix till well blended,
  • Stir in chocolate chips.
  • Form dough into 1" balls. Place 2" apart on prepared cookie sheet.
  • Press thum gently into center of each cookie.
  • Bake for 8 minutes, repress ceters after baking.
  • Remove to cooling rack. Cool completely.
  • Fill with peanutbuter filling.
  • Peanutbuter filling:
  • Combine butter and peanutbutter in meduim bowl.
  • Stir untill blended.
  • Add powder sugar, stir well.
  • Add milk and vanilla, Stir till smooth
  • Fill cooled thumbprints
  • 21/2 dozen cookies
