Ingredients
- Crust shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups flour shopping list
- 1/4 cold cup water shopping list
- 1/2 cup plus 1 tbls. cold butter shopping list
- 6 tbls. whipping cream shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla shopping list
- Filling shopping list
- 1 cup pistachios shopping list
- 1 cup pecans shopping list
- 3/4 cup unblanched almonds shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 3/4 cup light syrup shopping list
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed shopping list
- 1/4 cup butter, melted shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsp. almond extract shopping list
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract shopping list
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips shopping list
- whipped cream shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350
- In mixing bowl, combine flour and sugar
- Using fork, cut in butter until mixture looks like fine crumbs
- Add cream and vanilla and continue using fork to mix until dough forms ball
- In ungreased 11 inch tart pan with removable bottom, press dough onto bottom and up sides of pan
- Set aside
- Filling
- Put nuts into food processor and process until chopped
- In mixing bowl, whisk eggs, corn syrup,brown sugar, butter and extracts until smooth
- Stir in chocolate chips and nuts
- Pour into crust
- Put tart pan onto baking sheet
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until center is set
- Cool
- Top with dollop of whipped cream before serving
