How to make it

  • Cut salmon into long pieces about 18 cm long and 5 cm wide.
  • Put it in a bowl, sprinkle with dill (fine chopped fresh or just dry one)
  • Poor lemon juice over it. It should be enough to cover all the salmon.
  • Soak salmon in that marinade for a while (you can go and do your other things, until you are ready to cook)
  • Take a piece of salmon and put it on a piece of tin-foil long enough to roll the fish in it
  • Sprinkle the fish with salt, seasonings you like, poor some of that dill lemon juice on it, then put a piece of butter on top. Don't ever be afraid to put too much butter! There is no such thing anyway, but your salmon will not be juicy enough otherwise. :)
  • Roll the fish in the foil, then bend the corners, make them sealed tight, then make them pointy and bend the whole role a bit, so the corners are pointing up and the whole thing looks like a boat
  • Place the boats in oven and cook for about 15 min
  • To serve put a boat on a plate, carefully cut it in the middle with a knife and open it up. Now it really looks like a boat!
