Ingredients

How to make it

  • Combine shrimp in large bowl with garlic, green beans, onion
  • Use veggie peeler to skin tomatoes
  • Squeeze excess water out of tomatoes, chop into small pieces
  • Add tomatoes to bowl
  • Add basil.
  • Drench it all in at least 1/2 cup of extra virgin olive oil
  • (it seems like a lot, but it's good for you and it really isn't too much)
  • Add Steak seasoning, ground bay leaves, and sea salt to taste.
  • Stir it up for several minutes to make sure that you have coated everything very well in the oil and seasoning mixture.
  • Put it in the fridge to marinate and forget about it until about 1 hour and a half before you want to serve dinner.
  • Then:
  • Squeeze the juice out of one very large lemon or 2 small ones.
  • Combine in a mixing bowl with the other 1/2 cup of olive oil
  • Use mixer to whip lemon and oil with sugar and 1 large basil leaf
  • Pour over marinating shrimp and veggies. Mix well.
  • Let everything marinate another 30 minutes.
  • Then saute until shrimp are golden brown.
  • Sprinkle lightly with your favorite Italian grating cheese and serve over noodles or rice.

That's making my mouth water - shrimp is a favorite of mine. This sounds like it is full of great flavors...will have to try this next time I can find good, fresh shrimp. Thank you!
