Falafel With Yogurt Tahini Sauces

- Falafel shopping list
- One large can of garbanzo beans (chickpeas) shopping list
- 1 tablespoon roasted garlic shopping list
- One small jar of roasted red peppers shopping list
- 1 tablespoon cumin shopping list
- ½ cup fresh bread crumbs shopping list
- ½ cup chopped onion shopping list
- ¼ cup fresh parsley or dry equivalent shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- ½ teaspoon baking powder shopping list
- 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro or dry equivalent shopping list
- One organic egg, if you’re not strictly vegan shopping list
- yogurt Sauce shopping list
- 1/2 cup tahini shopping list
- ½ - ¾ cup homemade soy yogurt shopping list
- The juice of one lime shopping list
- 1 teaspoon roasted garlic shopping list
- wasabi to taste (we use about a tablespoon) shopping list
How to make it
- Falafel
- Place all ingredients in a food processor and process until smooth.
- Allow the mixture to chill for at least one hour.
- Form patties or hot dog shapes and flatten them.
- Brown in a frying pan in a small amount of olive oil.
- Serve in vegan wraps or pita bread with salad and yogurt sauce (recipe below).
- Yogurt Sauce
- Place all ingredients in a food processor and process until smooth.
