How to make it

  • Add oil to large pot over medium flame.
  • Saute onion, celery, garlic, ginger, and sugar.
  • Cook this for approx. 5 min until tender.
  • Now add the salt, tumeric, allspice, and the nutmeg.
  • Then add in the potatoes and zuchini, and chicken stock.
  • Let this come over the medium flame to a full boil, then reduce the flame to low.
  • Remove completely from heat and add cayenne pepper.
  • Now use a blender to puree soup. Ladle into bowls.
  • Use red pepper slices as a garnish!
