Green Tea Pomegranate Sorbet Recipe
This sorbet pairs the tart, citrusy flavors of the pomegranate with a green tea infused simple syrup and a kiss of Skyy lemon infused vodka. Make ahead up to two days. Cook time indicates chill time.

Ingredients
  • For the Sorbet:
  • 2 cups 100% pomegranate juice (either fresh or bottled)
  • 2 tbsp Skyy lemon-infused vodka
  • 1/4-1/3 cup green tea simple syrup (below)
  • ********
  • For the Green Tea Simple Syrup:
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup agave nectar
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2-3 green tea bags

Directions
  1. Bring water, agave nectar, and sugar to a boil, stirring to ensure sugar has dissolved.
  2. Remove from heat and allow tea bags to steep 5-6 minutes.
  3. Remove tea bags and cool. Refrigerate to chill.
  4. ****************
  5. Set a nonreactive metal pan or bowl in the freezer and allow it to thoroughly chill.
  6. Combine juice, vodka, and syrup to taste (depending on level of sweetness desired) in chilled pan/bowl, stirring well to combine.
  7. Place bowl in freezer and allow to chill at least three hours, perhaps more, folding frozen edges in every 45-60 minutes.
  8. Serve in chilled, shallow bowls.
