House Salad With Eggless Caesar Dressing

- Salad: shopping list
- 1/2 head romaine lettuce, rinsed patted dry, and torn into small pieces shopping list
- 1/2 head red lettuce, rinsed patted dry, and torn into small pieces shopping list
- 1/2 cup red seedless grapes shopping list
- 2 tablespoons freshly grated parmesan cheese shopping list
- 3/4 cup Homemade croutons shopping list
- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ shopping list
- Dressing: shopping list
- 1 2-ounce can anchovies in oil shopping list
- 1 1/2 tablespoons fresh, minced garlic shopping list
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard shopping list
- 1 1/2 tablespoons fresh cracked black pepper shopping list
- 2 tablespoon dried oregano shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 3/8 cup red wine vinegar shopping list
- 2 cups olive oil shopping list
How to make it
- Salad
- Combine ingredients in a large salad bowl and toss with approximately 1/2 cup Eggless Caesar Dressing

- Dressing:
- In food Processor, Puree anchovies with their oil to form a smooth paste
- Add garli, mustard, pepper oregano and salt. Process until blended
- With processor running add the vinegar slowly in a thin stream.
- With the processor still running add the oil slowly in a thin stream. Process until thorooughly blended. Dressing Should be thick and creamy.
