Chocolate And Cherry Ring

- 2 cups all-purpose flour shopping list
- 3/4 cup sugar shopping list
- 1 teaspoon baking soda shopping list
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon shopping list
- 1/8 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 2 beaten eggs shopping list
- 1/2 cup cooking oil shopping list
- 2 teaspoons vanilla shopping list
- 1 20 ounce can cherry pie filling shopping list
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate pieces shopping list
- 1 cup chopped walnuts shopping list
- powdered sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a large mixing bowl stir together flour, sugar, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.
- In another mixing bowel combine eggs, oil, and vanilla: add to flour mixture. Mix well.
- Stir in cherry pie filling, chocolate pieces and nuts.
- Turn cherry mixture into a greased and floured 10-inch fluted tube pan.
- Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour.
- Ovens can very so use a toothpick and if it come out clean cake is done.
- Place pan on wire rack to cool. After cake has completely cooled remove from pan and sift powdered sugar on top.
- Optional: Serve with Vanilla Icecream.
- Makes 12 servings.
