Ingredients

How to make it

  • Start with the largest bowl that will fit in your microwave...
  • Layer as many shrimp as you can with or without the heads in the bowl in a single layer...
  • Try not to have any shrimp on top of each other...
  • Sprinkle with Worcestershire sauce and layer the top of the shrimp with a sliced onion...
  • The author favors yellow or Vidalia onions...
  • Season with Season All seasoning mix and do not be afraid to be generous...
  • Add a nice amount of crushed garlic (your call but this is the part that makes the dish)...
  • Cover tightly and cook on high three minutes...
  • Carefully check to make sure they are cooking evenly; stir if necessary...
  • Cook another 3 to 3 1/2 minutes Let sit for a couple of minutes and serve over pasta...
  • *Note: You can add a third of a stick of butter to give it a really rich taste...Experiment and Enjoy...

I make a dish similar to this, but using peeled shrimp and adding green onions to the sauce. And we always have french bread to soak up the sauce left in the bowl. Love this one too!

I like the addition of the Butter and I may try and sub the Season All with Old Bay to give it some Kick!
