How to make it

  • Bake a box chocolate cake (one with pudding in the mix) according to the directions (use a 9x13” pan, greased and floured)
  • Over medium heat, combine 1 cup Pet milk, 1 cup sugar, 14 oz. coconut and 24 large marshmallows
  • Stir continuously until the marshmallows melt
  • Pour this over the baked cake while it is still hot
  • Let the cake cool for an hour (or can refrigerate for 30 minutes)
  • Bring to boil ½ cup Pet milk and 1 stick of butter or margarine
  • Then add 1 ½ cups chocolate chips
  • Stir until the chips have completely melted
  • Pour the chocolate mixture over the marshmallow layer on the cake
  • Sprinkle with almonds
  • Refrigerate overnight
  • *NOTE: This is a very good and very rich cake. Refrigerating it will make the sweetness a little less overwhelming. I recommend that you do not skip this step. ENJOY!!
