Cheeky Chili Chutney With Mango

- 3.5kg banana chillies, seeded and chopped roughly shopping list
- 4 or 5 green mangoes, diced shopping list
- 2 or 3 Spanish onions, diced shopping list
- 2 cups vegetable oil shopping list
- 2 cups sugar shopping list
- 2 cups apple cider vinegar shopping list
- 800g diced tomatoes (tinned is fine) shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Mix all ingredients in a large pot
- Cook on a slow to medium heat, stirring occasionally to prevent catching
- Sterilise glass jars and lids by placing in a 150°C oven for two hours
- Remove from oven using tongs to prevent contamination and place on a wooden surface so as not to break
- Pour the finished chutney into warm jars and seal
- Makes 3.6L
- Serving size has been calculated as 15g
