How to make it

  • Mix all ingredients in a large pot
  • Cook on a slow to medium heat, stirring occasionally to prevent catching
  • Sterilise glass jars and lids by placing in a 150°C oven for two hours
  • Remove from oven using tongs to prevent contamination and place on a wooden surface so as not to break
  • Pour the finished chutney into warm jars and seal
  • Makes 3.6L
  • Serving size has been calculated as 15g
