Chocolate Sundae Pie

This is a pie I used to make for my dad. He was a fan of chocolate pie, and with this one, you get the creaminess of French Silk Pie, only much easier, and no raw eggs. And hardly any "wait" time! And lemon pudding and a regular crust is a nice change, too.
Ingredients
- 1 chocolate cookie crumb crust shopping list
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened shopping list
- 1 c. powdered suger shopping list
- 16 oz whipped topping, thawed shopping list
- 1 t. vanilla shopping list
- 1 (4 oz.) box instant chocolate pudding shopping list
- 1 1/2 c. cold milk shopping list
How to make it
- Beat cheese until smooth, add powdered sugar and blend well. Add half of the whipped topping and the vanilla, making sure to mix well. Pour mixture into crust.
- Make pudding as directed, using only 1 1/2 cup of milk. Pour mixture onto first layer of the pie.
- Top with remaining whipped topping.
- Chill until serving time.
