Grilled Salmon Oriental

- 1-1/2 pounds salmon steaks or fillets shopping list
- 1 6 ounces c unsweetened pineapple shopping list
- juice shopping list
- 1 tablespoon light soy sauce shopping list
- 1 teaspoon hot pepper oil shopping list
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic shopping list
- 1/2 cup onion finely chopped shopping list
- 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon grated lime rind shopping list
- 2 tablespoon fresh lime juice shopping list
- vegetable oil spray shopping list
How to make it
- Rinse fish and pat dry. Arrange fish in a rectangular non aluminum baking dish. Combine all remaining ingredients in a small bowl, stir and pour over steaks, turning to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Preheat grill. Lightly spray grill top or grill pan with vegetable oil. Remove steaks from marinade and place steaks over hot coals or under grill , 4 to 5 inches from heat. Grill 5 to 7 minutes on each side, or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
- NOTE:
- DO NOT use vegetable oil spray near Open Flame or a heat source
