Redhot Satay Skewers

- 1 pound boneless beef sirloin, pork tenderloin or boneless chicken breasts, cut into strips shopping list
- 8 tablespoons hot pepper sauce, divided shopping list
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil shopping list
- 2 tablespons plus 1 teaspoon cider vinegar or any vinegar of choice shopping list
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted shopping list
How to make it
- Place meat or chicken strips in shallow pan.
- Combine 5 tablespons hot pepper sauce, oil and 2 tablespoons vinegar.
- Pour over meat.
- Cover and let stand 30 to 45 minutes.
- Drain, reserving marinade.
- Thread meat onto soaked wooden skewers.
- Broil or grill 8 to 10 minutes, brushing with marinade.
- Combine remaining 3 tablespoons hot pepper sauce, butter and 1 teaspoon vinegar.
- Serve warm sauce with skewers.
