Honey Biscuits

- 80g butter shopping list
- 1/2 cup honey shopping list
- 1/4 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 2 cups self raising flour shopping list
- pinch salt shopping list
- lightly beaten egg shopping list
- 1/2 cup demerera sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 180degC. Line 2 large baking trays with baking paper.
- Melt butter and honey in saucepan over medium heat. When butter has melted, remove from heat and cool slightly.
- Add brown sugar, self raising flour, salt and egg. Stir til well combined.
- Place demerera sugar into a smal bowl, Roll 2tsp biscuit nixture into a ball and roll in demerera sugar to coat.
- Transfer to prepared trays, allowing 3cm between each biscuit for spreading.
- Repeat for remaining mixture.
- Bake 15-20 mins or until golden and tops are cracked. Cool on trays for 10mins before trasnferring to wire racks to cool.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 4 days.... if they last that long!
