Pollys Parmesan Cheese Seasoning Italiana
From pollymotzko 14 years agoIngredients
- 1 cup Kraft parmesan cheese shopping list
- 3 tablespoons Tone’s Spicy Italian spaghetti seasoning shopping list
- 5 teaspoons McCormick California Style granulated garlic with parsley shopping list
How to make it
- Take an empty Parmesan cheese container that has been washed out and thoroughly dried and put the 1 cup Parmesan in then add the Italian Seasoning and shake….then add the garlic and shake some more.
- Presto! You have an awesome & versatile seasoning that can be used on:
- ***Pasta-stir into the marinara or onto the top of any of your favorite pasta dishes to make them even better than you remembered!
- ***In Meatballs-along with eggs for some of the most moist and flavorful meatballs you’ve ever eaten! You can put the meatballs in soups or served on really good French bread baguettes for a great meatball sub!
- ***In Soups-making them really flavorful and really memorable!
- You can take a crock of your favorite soup-and then take a moderately thin slice of your favorite bread-homemade is even better-and place the bread slice on top of the soup-as in a good French Onion soup. Then top with this cheesy, garlicky mixture and put it in a hot oven for a few minutes.
- Wait until you taste the end result!
- Also: Try it on Pizza with Pesto Genovese! The combination of flavors on your favorite pizza-as long as it doesn’t have ham or pineapple on it-is great!
- Variations:
- NOTE: Although any kind of Parmesan cheese can be used, I used Kraft because I had it at the time. Another awesome variation on this is using a combination of Parmesan and Romano cheeses for the Parmesan. Trader Joe’s makes a really good blend of this that is very reasonable that has these cheeses in equal proportions.
