May Wine Sangria Recipe

Ingredients

1 bottle of May Wine

( found during spring or early summer , made with sweet woodruff in a light white wine base, originally of German origin for the May holiday)

1 bottle of red or rose wine ( any kind is okay )

1, 13 oz can red raspberries in heavy syrup

1, carton of frozen strawberries in syrup

2/3 to 3/4 cup to taste of flavored liquer such as coconut,( which I chose to use ) or pear, peach, orange, almond- any flavor to compliment the berries

Directions

Mix all together.

Let mellow overnight

Serve well chilled and stir before serving.

Garnish each glass with fresh garden mint spring or a nasturtium flower
