Hong Kong Primavera

- vermicelli [8 oz] shopping list
- green onions [3] shopping list
- water [3/4 cup] shopping list
- peanut butter, creamy [6 Tbs] shopping list
- soy sauce [3 Tbs] shopping list
- rice vinegar [6 Tbs] shopping list
- sugar [3 Tbs] shopping list
- red pepper flakes [1 tsp] shopping list
- sesame oil [2 tsp] shopping list
- carrots, grated [1 cup] shopping list
- peas [1 cup] shopping list
- ginger, fresh, minced [1-2 Tbs] shopping list
- garlic, minced [4 cloves] shopping list
- napa cabbage, thinly sliced [1/2 cabbage] shopping list
How to make it
- Cook pasta.
- Drain and toss pasta with green onions. Keep warm.
- While pasta cooks, combine water, peanut butter, soy sauce, vinegar, and sugar in a blender or food processor until smooth. Add pepper flakes and set aside.
- Place oil in a heavy skillet (around 10").
- Stir in carrots, peas, ginger, and garlic.
- Cook over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, for 30 seconds.
- Stir in the cabbage and peanut sauce.
- Cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute or until the cabbage is wilted.
- Add to the pasta and toss well. Enjoy!
