Lemon Cheesecake Recipe
This recipe came in some junk mail.... Its about the simplist cheesecake you can make...You can substitute low fat ingredients also.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons margarine or butter, melted
  • 3 packages cream cheese, softened (8 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 carton lemon yogurt ( 8oz)
  • Assorted fresh berries and lemon zest, optional

Directions
  1. Combine cracker crumbs and margarine; press into bottom of an ungreased 9 inch springform pan; set aside.
  2. Beat cream cheese, flour and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Gradually add lemon juice and eggs; beat well.
  4. Fold in Yogurt.
  5. Pour into crust.
  6. Cover loosely with foil.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 to 70 minutes or until set.
  8. Cool to room temperature.
  9. Refrigerate and garnish.

I've never liked Key Lime Cheesecake, but this lemon one sounds intriguing. I'll have to try it.


This does sound good. I have never heard of a cheesecake calling for yogurt. Well, my curiosity is peaked. Thanks Zena, your the best :D
