Translated by me off a German baking group and described as an easy and tasty lemon cake.

Ingredients
  • 350 g Magarine or Butter
  • 350 g sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla or 1 tsp lemon extract
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 Tbs grated lemon peel
  • 350 g flour
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • Glaze:
  • 400 g Powdersugar
  • grated lemon peel
  • 2 Tbs lemon juice

Directions
  1. Mix all in a bowl and place in a greased square cake pan.
  2. Bake 175- 200C about 20 minutes or tested done.
  3. Cool
  4. Combine some powder sugar and grated lemon peel and juice r to make a glaze and drizzle over cooled cake
