How to make it

  • Place garlic on a sheet of foil. Drizzle with olive oil, then close foil and place in a 400 degree oven. Roast for one hour, or until soft.
  • Puree in a blender. Add room temperature butter and bleu cheese, mixing well. Refrigerate.
  • Use on chicken or salmon before cooking or as a spread for garlic bread.
  • Can be kept chilled up to two weeks, or frozen for longer term storage.

    This sounds like something that makes more than just the dog drool. I see it being used as a BBQ white sauce (applied before or after cooking) or dipping sauce ... perhaps served along with a couple other BBQ dipping sauces beside a serving tray of grilled pork or chicken.
    I read the title three times then had to click on it and see what it was. :^)
