Ingredients

4c sifted confectioners sugar

1/3c butter,creame

1/4c cocoa

1/4tsp salt

1/3c strong coffee

1tsp vanilla

3/4c chopped,toasted walnuts

Directions

Resift sugar with cocoa and salt. Add part of this mixture to creamed butter gradually;blend after each addition;then add remaining sugar mixture alternately with coffee,beating smooth after each addition until right consistancy for spreading;blend in vanilla..

Spread over top and sodes of cake. Press walnuts into frosting on sides of cake
