Rich and delicious mocha frosting. Recipe is my mother-in-law's.

Ingredients
  • 4c sifted confectioners sugar
  • 1/3c butter,creame
  • 1/4c cocoa
  • 1/4tsp salt
  • 1/3c strong coffee
  • 1tsp vanilla
  • 3/4c chopped,toasted walnuts

Directions
  1. Resift sugar with cocoa and salt. Add part of this mixture to creamed butter gradually;blend after each addition;then add remaining sugar mixture alternately with coffee,beating smooth after each addition until right consistancy for spreading;blend in vanilla..
  2. Spread over top and sodes of cake. Press walnuts into frosting on sides of cake
