Mikes Blueberry Coffee Cake

This is a wonderful cake that my friend Mike at work made. Blueberries are at their peak in the New England area. This cake is perfect for them.

Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs;beat after each egg. Add flour,milk,salt and baking powder;mix together. Flour blueberries;stir into mixture with spoon. Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Sprinkle on topping. Bake at 350 for 1 hour and 20 mins or till tothpick comes out clean.
