How to make it

  • Spread each slice of bread with 1-2 (or 3) tablespoons of sunflower butter
  • Add shredded carrots to two of the pieces
  • Layer apple on the other slices
  • Smoosh together
  • Slice and enjoy
  • Option: grill using earth balance margin but be wary of super-melted/runny butter.

    Awww, that's a bummer about the peanut allergy. I've never heard of or even tried sunflower butter. This sounds yummy though!
