Baked Apples With Almond Streusel

- 8 ounces plain yogurt shopping list
- 2 tablespoons honey shopping list
- cooking spray shopping list
- 1 cup old fashioned oats uncooked shopping list
- 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar shopping list
- 2 tablespoons all purpose flour shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice shopping list
- 6 tablespoons vegetable oil spread in sticks softened shopping list
- 2 tablespoons slivered almonds shopping list
- 4 large firm apples washed but not peeled shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 then spray rectangular metal baking pan with cooking spray.
- Combine yogurt and honey then mix well and cover and chill.
- Combine oats, sugar, flour and allspice then mix well and cut in spread until mixture is crumbly.
- Stir in almonds then set aside.
- Cut apples in half lengthwise and using a small spoon remove center portion of each apple half.
- Place scooped apples cut side down in pan and spray with cooking spray then bake 20 minutes.
- Remove pan from oven to wire rack then turn apples cut side up in pan.
- Spoon reserved oat mixture over apples then return pan to oven and bake 25 minutes longer.
- Cool apples five minutes in pan on wire rack then spoon sauce over warm apples to serve.
- Cover and refrigerate leftovers.
