Mulligatawny Soup

- 1 large yellow onion sliced shopping list
- 1/2 cup of sliced carrots shopping list
- 1/2 cup of sliced celery shopping list
- 1 green pepper chopped shopping list
- 1/4 cup of butter shopping list
- 1/4 cup of flour shopping list
- 1 tsp. of curry powder shopping list
- 4 whole cloves shopping list
- 2 TBS. chopped fresh parsley shopping list
- 1 cup of diced cooked chicken shopping list
- 1 can(16oz.) tomatoes with the juice shopping list
- 1 qt. of chicken stock shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Saute onion, carrots, celery and green pepper in butter.
- Blend in the flour and cook several minutes.
- Add remaining ingredients.
- Simmer for 60 minutes.
- Remove the cloves before serving

Wonderful recipe - I was raised on this soup. My Dad was raised in Burma from the time he was 2 until 11. He used to make this for us all the time. Never had a recipe - so now I do. Thanks!
