Chicken And Rice Recipe Ditty / All my dishes

Another from my friend Kath..This is an easy and very tasty chicken and rice dish - give it a go :-)

Ingredients
  • Chicken breasts or whatever chicken you like
  • 1/4 lb. (1 stick) butter
  • salt & pepper
  • flour
  • 1 can Chicken Vegetable soup or Chicken with rice
  • 1 can water
  • 1 cup converted rice, I always add a bit extra
  • 1 can drained Veg-All

Directions
  1. Melt 1/4 lb. (1 stick) butter in roasting pan.
  2. Mix flour, salt & pepper in a bag, I also add seasonings of my choice.
  3. Shake chicken in flour mixture.
  4. Put chicken in pan, skin side down, bake for 30 minutes @ 350 degrees.
  5. (we use the skinless/ boneless chicken breasts)
  6. Remove chicken from pan, add rice mixture, return chicken to pan, skin side up.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes more, or until done.
  8. Combine in bowl:
  9. Shake chicken in flour mixture.

  20. any veggies of your choice
  21. Season to your taste...
  22. I use, garlic salt, onion salt, Mrs dash, pepper, celery salt,
  23. anything I can find that I think would taste good.
  24. Also use the same in my flour mixture!
