How to make it

  • Melt 1/4 lb. (1 stick) butter in roasting pan.
  • Mix flour, salt & pepper in a bag, I also add seasonings of my choice.
  • Shake chicken in flour mixture.
  • Put chicken in pan, skin side down, bake for 30 minutes @ 350 degrees.
  • (we use the skinless/ boneless chicken breasts)
  • Remove chicken from pan, add rice mixture, return chicken to pan, skin side up.
  • Bake for 45 minutes more, or until done.
  • Combine in bowl:

  • 1 can Chicken Vegetable soup
  • 1 can water
  • 1 cup converted rice
  • 1 can drained Veg-All
  • or
  • any veggies of your choice
  • Season to your taste...
  • I use, garlic salt, onion salt, Mrs dash, pepper, celery salt,
  • anything I can find that I think would taste good.
  • Also use the same in my flour mixture!
