How to make it

  • Line the sides and bottom of a round plastic container with a lid with the softened lime sherbet..
  • Put in the freezer until hardened.
  • Meanwhile, soften the strawberry or raspberry ice cream or sherbet. Mix in the chocolate chips.
  • Spoon this mixture into the sherbet-lined plastic container and cover with lid.
  • Freeze until hardened throughout.
  • When completely frozen, unmold and slice into servings.
  • Serve immediately.

    What a great idea! Use to make this as a decorated cake in the bakery but never as just ice cream. I like this, great post!
