How to make it

  • Combine brown sugar, ketchup, mustard, molasses, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, cayenne and black pepper.
  • In large skillet, fry bacon until crisp. Remove bacon with slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
  • Drain skillet, reserving 3 tablespoons bacon fat.
  • Add onion and celery to skillet. Saute until tender-crisp.
  • Combine bacon, beans, onion and sauce mixture.
  • Pour into greased 2 quart casserole.
  • Bake at 325 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
