Quick And Easy Mexican Cornbread

- 1 cup self rising corn meal mix shopping list
- 1 cup self rising flour shopping list
- 1 fifteen ounce can creamed corn shopping list
- 1 small can chopped green chilies shopping list
- 1/4 cup minced onion shopping list
- 1/4 cup minced jalapeno pepper shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1/4 cup sour cream shopping list
- 1 TSPN canola oil ( or any cooking oil) shopping list
- 1/2 cup milk shopping list
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Prepare a large cake pan or 8 inch round baking dish by spraying well with a vegetable or baking spray
- In large bowl combine dry ingredients
- Add next 8 ingredients, in order, mixing well after each
- Gently blend in cheese
- Pour into baking pan
- Bake at 400 degrees for 55 minutes or until top in golden brown and crisp
- Remove from oven
- Cover with Serving Dish and immediately turn over to remove from pan
- Slice and serve while warm and cheese is melted and wonderful!
