Ingredients
  • 4 thinly sliced Vidalia onions
  • 3 tbsp. of margarine
  • 1 tbsp. of all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. of salt
  • 2 c. of chicken broth
  • 1 c.of milk
  • 1/2 c. of heavy whipping cream
  • 3 beaten egg yolks
  • 1/8 tbsp. of hot pepper sauce
  • 2 tbsp. of chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 1/2 tsp. of paprika
  • ground black pepper to taste

Directions
  1. First you wan to add butter to pan over a medium flame.
  2. Saute your onions until yellow.
  3. Now add in flour and salt and mix.
  4. Slowly add in broth, stirring.
  5. Now put a lid on the pot and keep over a low flame for about 10 min.
  6. Once the onions are soft, add in your milk and craem.
  7. Let this heat all the way through.
  8. You will now want to remove half of the soup and mix in the egg yolks to the part you took out.
  9. Now slowly add the mixture back into the pot.
  10. Let this heat on low heat.
  11. Just before serving, you want to add the paprika, pepper, and hot sauce.
  12. Serve this hot in bowls!
