A recipe from my grandmother, I love this sauce on horseshoes.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • Flour
  • Milk
  • 1/4 block (large block) Velveta
  • Sharp Cheddar
  • Beer

Directions
  1. Melt butter in skillet
  2. Add a little flour until it gets pasty
  3. Add about 1/2 cup milk
  4. Stir over med heat until thickens
  5. Add more milk, velveta, sharp cheddar, & a splash of beer
  6. Stir until cheese is melted and sauce is creamy

Okay, I'll bite -- what are horseshoes? Yes, I know they're C-shaped metal pieces nailed on to the bottom of hoofs but... ;-)
