How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Beat egg whites until soft peaks form
  • Continue beating as you gradually add the vanilla and 1/2 cup sugar
  • Mix crumbs with 1/2 cup sugar and peacans and fold into egg whites
  • Bake at 350 for 35 minutes in a well greased pie plate
  • Serve with sweatened whipped cream or non-dairy topping and cherry on top (if desired)
