This is my great-aunt's recipe for refrigerator pickles.

Ingredients
  • 3 qts. sliced cucumbers
  • 2 lb. sliced onions
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 jar pimentos (optional)
  • 1/3 c. salt
  • 1 tsp. celery seed
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 2 c. white vinegar

Directions
  1. Mix and store in an ice cream pail in the fridge.
