Kraut Alsatian

- 3 bags refrigerated sauerkraut [1 lb. each shopping list
- 1 1/2 lbs. red potatoes small [scrubbed and halved shopping list
- 6 medium sized carrots peeled and sliced 1/2 inch slices shopping list
- 1 tsp. cracked black pepper shopping list
- 2 smoked pork chops 3/4 lb. total [2 regular pork chops} shopping list
- 1 cup dry white wine shopping list
- 1 lb. smoked sausages such as knockwurst or Keilbasa shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Drain Kraut throughly then combined wit potatoes carrots and pepper in a lage flame proof casserole or heavy deep pot
- arrange both types of pork chops over sauerkraut Add wine cover tightly bring to a simmer cook 1 hour till taters are tender
- Add sausage cook 15 minutes untill sausage is heated through Add Salt to taste
