Pineapple Upside - Down Cake Recipe
Here is a great recipe that every one LOVES around my house.My family and friends LOVES this cake.I got to thank Chris for this recipe.

Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon water (more if you needed)
  • 1 can (8 ounce) pineapple slices (save juice)
  • 1 box yellow cake mix

Directions
  1. In an cake pan melt butter or margarine than pull out the pan from the oven, stir in the brown sugar and water.Arrange pineapples slices and set aside.
  2. In an mixing bowl follow the directions off from the cake.Use the pineapple juice to take the place of the water.Might need just an little bit of the water but not much.
  3. Bake in a 350o oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted near center comes out clean.Cool on a wire rack for 5 minutes.Loosen cake from pan; inverent onto a plate.Serve warm.

  5. Best use Duncan Hines or Betty Crocker cake mix.Do not use generic brand cake mix because it won't come out right.
  6. Best use Dole Pineapples slices, nothen else.
