OH...I got so excited I didn't answer the chat topic...sometimes we mix up some margaritas, or, the "usual" at home is Crown and 7-up with a lime slice and an orange slice. Bryan is the 'beertender', and he just keeps adding fruit with each drink...it's actually good...we call it fruit salad by the time we've had two or six. We sit downstairs in the Lucky 7 (fun story of why it's called that, but kinda long....will tell if anyone is interested), on the patio in front of the fire pit, or on the deck in nice weather, and talk about everything...plans, kids, grandkids, work, etc. we totally enjoy eachother's company. Love to play rook with friends and listen to music.

Love cheese n sharp white cheddar...something I snack on is the garlic flavored triscuits, with whatever cheese I have (love them with the garen veg. cream cheese), and I put a mild banana pepper ring on top! If we have left over chicken or beef, I will sprinkle that and some cheese over some tortilla chips and put it in the oven for a few minutes, then get salsa, sour cream, black olives, whatever toppings I have on hand, and serve up some nachos.

    My wifes new kitchen sign:

Kitchen sign: I LOVE TO COOK. I LOVE TO CLEAN HOUSE. I LOVE MY NEW MEDICATION.

George walked into a bar and ordered martini after martini, each time removing the olives and placing them in a jar. When the jar was filled with olives and all the drinks consumed, George started to leave.
"S'cuse me", said a customer, who was puzzled over what George had done, "what was that all about?"
"Nothin', said George, "my wife just sent me out for a jar of olives!"

    To some it's a six-pack, to me it's a Support Group.

A professor of chemistry wanted to teach his 5th grade class a lesson about the evils of liquor, so he produced an experiment that involved a glass of water, a glass of whiskey, and two worms. "Now, class. Observe closely the worms," said the professor first putting a worm into the water. The worm in the water writhed about, happy as a worm in water could be. The second worm, he put into the whiskey. It writhed painfully, and it quickly sank to the bottom, dead as a doornail. "Now, what lesson can we derive from this experiment?" the professor asked.
Little Johnny raised his hand and wisely responded, "Drink whiskey and you won't get worms!"

A guy walks into a bar with his dog...and says, Bartender, my dog can talk and if you give me a free drink, I'll show you!! The bartender, being the humorous fellow, says, "okay, why not??" and gives the man a drink...The man says to the dog, "Rover, What's on top of the house?" and the dog barks, rooooof!!!

the Bartender says...that's not talking, the dog was just barking...so the guy says , wait a minute, give him another chance, that was a bad question...the bartender refuses, until the whole bar yells, "yeah..give him another chance!!", So the bartender agrees and serves him another. The guy says to the dog..."Rover, what does sandpaper feel like?" and the dog says, Ruffffff.....The bartender again says..that's not talking, he's just barking!! and starts to kick the guy out of the bar, the rest of the crowd in the bar, cries...give him one more chance...so the bartender agrees and gives him another. The guy says to his dog, "who was the best baseball player of all time?" and the dog barks out Rooooth!!!!! the bartender again says...that's just barking, get outta here, so he kicks him out of the bar!! After a few minutes the dog comes trotting back into the bar, puts his paws up on the bar and looks at the bartender and asks, "who was it, Joe Dimaggio??"

    Have a great day folks

Wynnebaer...I like your sign better...that 's great!! I'd change it to: 1. Take it 2. or ormake it yourself!!!!
or how about....Dinner...1. love it 2. or leave it!!

A lady walks into a bar and says,'' Barkeep, gimme a martooni.'' The bartender goes back and fixes her a martini. She downs it and says, ''Barkeep, gimme another martooni.'' So he goes back and fixes her another martini. She downs that, and just sits there and doesn't say anything. Finally after about 10 minutes bartender says,'' Would you like another?'' She says,'' Oh, no, I got this terrible heartburn.''

The bartender says, ''Okay, there are three things wrong here:

Number 1: It's martini, not martooni.
Number 2: It's bartender, not barkeep, and
Number 3: You're not having heartburn, your boob's in the ash tray.''

A guy sits down at the bar and orders drink after drink rapidly.
"Is everything okay, pal?", the bartender asks.
"My wife and I got into a fight and she said she isn't talking to me for a month!".
Trying to put a positive spin on things, the bartender says, "Well, maybe that's kind of a good thing. You know, a little peace and quiet?"
"Yeah. But today is the last day".

It's interesting that I just read a little blurb about 'No Smoking' and how the taverns and bars and restaurants actually are experiencing More Business since initiating No Smoking....should've been done long ago, I hate smoke blowing on me while I'm trying to enjoy a dinner I paid my hard earned cash to buy!! If I wanted to smoke, I'd smoke myself, I don't need anyone else's smoke stinking up my clothes and hair and my meal!!
Am I wrong??? Sorry if I've offended any smokers...I just don't like it...that's my opinion...just like it's a smokers choice and opinion to smoke...but if his rights interferes with my rights...well then someone's gotta go..!!

Nuff of that!! bring on the jokes!!
