Wisconsin

A friend of mine moved here (Wisconsin) from Denver and teased me because a meal was never complete without cheese in it. Are there any other native Wisconsinites reading this that have had this same situation? I just love cheese and it seems to add so much to a recipe.

I've lived in Wisconsin all my life, and can't imagine a day going by without ingesting some kind of cheese. If I ever become lactose intolerant, I may starve to death.

I overheard my husband telling his father that he "doesn't eat as much cheese as he used to" yesterday, and I just about died. I sneak it in to every dish I make. He's probably eating more cheese now than he ever did while growing up on a dairy farm, with his grandfather a master cheese maker!
