Edible christmas tree

    Hi!
I'am a new member of grouprecipes and sorry if it's the wrong place to ask my question (dont know how it works :) )

My plan for christms is to create a christmas tree which is fully edible. Flower pot, soil, tree... All edible. And I stuck in the point, where have to add some green branches to my tree. One of my ideas, is to steam the leeks and cover it with honey.

Do you have any ideas? I mean ANY! Craziest will be very appreciated :)

Thank You very for any help :)

I make a Christmas tree out of cinnamon roll dough....roll dough out into a triangle --spread butter on the dough and sprinkle with sugar (I use white and brown sugar) with cinnamon and fold the long sides together until they meet. PInch together starting at the top (point) down and then pinch the bottom. The with kitchen scissors on the long sides cut into the dough to the middle leaving about and inch down the center not cut. Make sure to match the cuts on both sides. The cuts should be about 1 1/2 inches apart. Then twist the cuts so that they lay to expose the filling. Let rise about 30 min. Bake 350 degrees for about 30 min. Let cool and drizzle powdered sugar frosting. I decorate with sprinkles or red or green candied cherries.
