Crescent for crust

  • sparow64 14 years ago
I want to make a tomato pie for supper, but, don't want to stop at the store on the way home from work for pie crust. (Am not going to attempt my first pie crust from scratch for supper, either...lol). Just wondering how anyone thinks patting crescent rolls into the pie pan and prebaking for the crust would work...think I may give it a whirl.

Hey Lori, I'm no expert on this, but I think it would work just fine. I've done it for a dessert I've made.

It should be fine. It's used as a crust for casseroles etc.

I think it should work too. Just make sure you seal them together well.
