OK, I can't believe no one said anything yet and I can't keep my mouth shut anymore! :-D
Am I the only person who used a half of a box of Kleenex on this one? My gosh!
I absolutely loved how Edith told Mary off. It was just too good and so well-deserved! Edith has grown so much since this series started. Way more than Mary. Did you see that look on Mary's face when she found out Bertie (and thus Edith) outranked the Crawleys? Like she bit full on into a lemon stuffed with sauerkraut. And then Tom punched her out as well. About time!
Action packed this week. So much better than all the snoozers before!

Amusing to see Lord and Lady Grantham at Mrs. Patmore's cottage for tea.
Goodness at Thomas slitting his wrists.
How they're going to wrap this thing up in one episode is beyond me. I'm going to miss the show so badly. :(

I don't know how they will wrap up next episode either. I wondered if Bertie would come back, but then I thought no, it would be so much better if Gregson ( I think that's his name, Marigold's father) comes back!! That would be a shocker! ;)

I must be the only one who didn't feel sorry for Mary. She even made that snarky comment to her father when they learned of Barrow's wrist slashing. His comeback was perfect - "That was below the belt, even for you." Yes, she was miserable but she sure wanted everyone else to be as well.
I do agree that Edith should have told Bertie but it certainly wasn't Mary's place to spill the beans!
And Sprat is the mystery columnist. Bananas!
