    has anyone had successs freezing cheese?
    I had a craving while at the store, and overloaded my fridge with all kinds!

Did get a nice chunk of Havarti one time I was instructed not to freeze. Tried freezing cream cheese once and it made it grainy.

    Hi, My kids call me the freezer queen!:)) Agree with American chedder, and harder cheeses etc. One thing I do check is the due date, if it is a long way away. I don't bother. Swiss cheese freezes well. It is one of those cheeses that goes off taste quite quickly in the fridge. If sliced and well wrapped thaws nice and quick too!
    Soft cheeses no not had any luck with them at all:((
