herbs

I've had great luck freezing some of my herbs, esp basil, parsley, sage. These contain a lot of water, and may mold before they're dry enough.
I pick them,,, chop them up, put in ice cube trays, 3/4 full. Cover almost over with water. When they're frozen, top off with more water, to make sure they're all covered. To use , just drop one or 2 in your sauce, soup, etc.
    Easy.
OR, lay leaves flat on a cookie sheet. When they are frozen, (or when you get around to it), put them in freezer bags. If they are frozen separatly, they won't stick together! Easier!
