An excerpt from Elizabeth Gilbert :

an oak tree is brought into creation by two forces at the same time. Obviously, there is the acorn from which it all begins, the seed which holds all the promise and potential, which grows into the tree. Everybody can see that. But only a few can recognize that there is another force operating here as well - the future tree itself, which wants so badly to exist that it pulls the acorn into being, drawing the seedling forth with longing out of the void, guiding the evolution from nothingness to maturity

so perhaps in the mind of Us All, a vision for future peace and happiness of All in this Life, is pulling the very seeds thereof into existence ...

    Carrots eggs and coffee beans

A chef took his son into the kitchen and showed him three identical pots of boiling water. Without saying anything he took a carrot and placed it in one of the pots, an egg in the second pot and a few coffee beans in the third. A few minutes later he asked his son to check the pots and to tell him what he saw. the son told him that the carrot had become soft, the egg had become hard but the coffee beens had remained the same except that the water had changed.
The father said that people also react in different ways in the face of the same trouble.
Some will become weak and soft and lose their strength.
Some will become hardened but lose the softness that they had before.
Others will not change themselves but they will turn the problem into something enjoyable for all mankind

    The Donkey and the Pit
A farmer had a donkey who fell into a deep pit. After trying to save him and failing, the farmer gave up and thought that the best thing would be to bury him. He started shovelling sand into the pit but with every shovell-full of sand the donkey climbed up onto the new level that was formed. He kept climbing until there was enough sand in the pit for him to climb out.

You can use turn problems into a solution

    Two wolves!
This is a story of "native American" origin.

A father was talking to his son and says,
"In our hearts there are two wolves, a wolf of hatred and war, and a wolf of love, friendship, peace and serenity."
"These wolves are at constant war with each other."
The son asks: "Which one will eventually win?"
The father answers: " The one that we feed."

Ronnymarcus, I luv the coffee bean story. I have learned that online friends can brighten up a bad day. :) And smiles are free...but everyone loves to get one.
