  Hi, y'all! I'm so glad I found you ~ my father was a full-blood, and I LOVE German food. Unfortunately, the recipes are very low in my personal repertoire ~ I can teach you to bake from-scratch Southern buttermilk biscuits, but rouladen mit spaetzel? I need you and am SO glad to be the new kid in this group! I've tried to describe REAL German hotdogs, the kind that the skin 'pops' when you bite them, to my sweet Southern husband. They've been one of my favorite foods since I was a girl ~ I always ate them when, as a child, I visited my aunts and uncles in St.Cloud, MN with my parents. We can't get them around here. ;o( Kuchen, schnitzel, spaetzel, oh, YEAH! I can't wait to learn from you! Blessings, deb
