Bread making

    I have a terrible time with my breads burning on the bottom. Anyone have any good ideas? I have went to making banana muffins with my bread recipe, just so they won't burn.

    try moving the oven rack and see if that helps. or lower the oven temp just a little.. Those pans that are air cooled help cookies from getting too brown on the bottom maybe a new bread pan would help..

    Good advice from Peetabear, I had to lower the temp. on some of my recipes... I use my convection oven allot and boy is it different, have to watch things because it cooks so fast...

    I agree with peetabear. When I have problems with burning bread, moving the rack up a little usually helps. Good luck!
