Being My Own Follower Help Group

I guess I missed something somewhere. When I go to my home and check on "those I feed" I find myself at least three times. And I have several new followers that I was not aware of. What has changed? Can anyone be a follower without notice to the followee? And why is my avatar listed as being my own follower?

Not upset just trying to figure out the limits.

I know that there have been some questions about multiple "followers" so that, along with your being yourself, I can't answer, but I can tell you that yes, people can "follow" you without your approval or notice. It just means they get notices when you post your new recipes. Also, you can follow someone but they don't follow you, or vice versa. :)

Hmm kinda like the old "Food Friends" but without the acknowledgement or approval. That is ok with me. If I put my recipes out in a public forum then they are public. Still does not explain why I am my own "follower". That one needs work.

Yeah, the multiple thing was brought up a couple days ago, and Kris addressed it, some, and I inadvertently discovered that even Kris, himself, has at least one follower on his list, twice... I tried to bring it to his attention, but I don't think he saw it. :) I just made a big ol' list last night that he was awesome in addressing, so I won't bring it up again, yet, but I have faith he'll figure it out.

He seems pretty on the ball, that one. ;) We'll see what he says.

Seriously, I'm a learner... I'm addicted to learning something and also to helping. It's a problem. I'm in therapy. I go to meetings......... but all I ever seem to do at those things is try to help everyone else who's there... anyway, I digress...

the point is, I like the site and I am loving the new changes. If I can help, at all, I will try to. I just wanna be helpful, though, not in Kristopher's way.... I'm always aware of the fine line between being helpful and being a pain in the ass.

This is a bug that only affects a small number of the very early members on the site. It actually is a bug from the old site, that the new one simply displays.

Added to "the list". As it doesn't directly affect site functionality, it is a little further down on the list. We'll clear these duplicates out though.

Actually on second thought. Here is a quick fix. Visit your profile page, and under your photo click "unsubscribe". This should clear them out.

lol all I could thing of when you said your own profile came up 3 times as "people you feed" was well you do feed yourself 3 times a day! :) Maybe the site just wants to remind you to eat.
